We empower individuals to embrace new opportunities and redefine their futures, one step at a time.

Your support can make a profound difference. By contributing to Accomplished Ventures, you are investing in a future where everyone has the chance to thrive beyond the prison walls.

The Problem

Prison reform is a problem that needs serious attention. If 7/10 airplanes fell out of the sky or 7/10 taxi's crashed on their route, neither industry would survive.

The Numbers

600,000+

People Leave Prison every Year & Attempt To Re-join Society

65%

Of People Released Return To Prison Within 3 Years

25%

Of Incarcerated People have no High School Credentials

The Problem

Every year, over 600,000 people will leave prison

They will attempt to rejoin their neighbors as productive members of society.

Despite seeking employment at rates higher than the general population, formerly incarcerated individuals are half as likely to get a job because of their incarceration and face unemployment rates five times the national average.

The discrimination that these would-be employees experience perpetuates a cycle of economic insecurity that forces many to return to illegal activities just to survive. It is unsurprising then that nearly two thirds of formerly incarcerated individuals find themselves back in prison in just three years.

“Our vision is to reduce the rate of recidivism in the United States by providing each incarcerated citizen a path, a plan and a purpose. When an individual has a desire to succeed as much as they have a desire to breathe; they can not be stopped.”

Our Purpose

Clarity in purpose, confidence in self & community encouragement.

AccomplishED VenturesTM provides incarcerated individuals with the tools they need to be successful in the real world.

When a man gets released from prison and stays out, that’s a win for ALL. When his children do not go to prison and continue an intergenerational cycle of incarceration, that is transformative. Returned citizens frequently find themselves stuck, s
tuck in a cycle of incarceration, rearrest, and return to prison.

A National Institute of Justice study found that within three years of release two-thirds (67.8%) of released prisoners were rearrested.

“It’s clear that taxpayers pay far too much to incarcerate inmates in the United States. Corrections expenditures have nearly quadrupled over the past two decades."

The Solution

We are a 501(c)3 charitable organization so any donations could be tax-deductible for you!

We cannot do this work without the support of individuals who believe in our mission and join us as we all pursue our individual purpose.

You will sponsor 1 adult for the Financial Literacy course. They will receive a workbook, 10 videos, a journal, and possible “good time” credits thanks to California Proposition 57.

Overview of Proposition 57 On November 8, 2016, California voters overwhelmingly passed Proposition 57 (64% to 35%), which gives California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) inmates the ability to earn additional credits for good behavior and for approved rehabilitative or educational achievements.

Under Proposition 57, the department will incentivize inmates to take responsibility for their own rehabilitation; promote public safety by encouraging inmates to pursue educational, vocational, and self-improvement activities; and reduce recidivism by increasing the likelihood that inmates will successfully transition back into our communities.
